We are thrilled to invite you to our 3rd Tournament at the Salzstadl in Burgenwelt Ehrenberg!
📷 Duel Categories: Sword & Shield and Longsword Men‘s and Women‘s Division
📷 Profight and Men’s/Women’s Division will take place if enough participants sign up.
📷 Limited spots: Duel categories are capped at 16 fighters per category – first come, first served📷
📷 Weather? No problem! The event is fully indoors at the Salzstadl.
If all spots are taken, additional participants will be placed on a waiting list.
📷 IMPORTANT – Honor Rule for Cancellations:
Due to a high number of last-minute dropouts in our first tournament, we are enforcing the Honor Rule:
📷 If you can’t attend, you must find a replacement fighter or make a voluntary donation to the tournament fund. This will be used to buy “consolation beer” for fighters, supporters, and referees.

Tournament Venue – Salzstadl Ehrenberg, Austria
The tournament takes place at the historic Salzstadl, located within the impressive Ehrenberg Castle complex in Reutte, Tyrol, Austria. Surrounded by medieval fortifications and the beautiful Tyrolean Alps, the venue offers a unique atmosphere for an international Buhurt tournament.
Accommodation: The venue features an on-site hotel with 38 rooms, including single, double and shared rooms accommodating up to seven people. Additional accommodation is available in nearby Reutte.
Sanitary Facilities: Toilets are available on site. Hotel guests have access to private bathroom facilities. Separate shower facilities for fighters are subject to confirmation by the organisers.
Food & Drinks: The Salzstadl restaurant offers traditional Tyrolean cuisine, refreshments and indoor dining facilities.
Parking & Accessibility: Parking is available directly at the venue, with easy access via the B179. Overnight camping or sleeping in vehicles is generally prohibited on the castle grounds.
