Introduction
Started fighting in 14thC reenactment in 1990 in Australia.
Moved to the UK in 2005 and continued in the hobby.
Saw YouTube video of the first BotN in 2009 and said "I have to do that", but everyone in the UK scene I spoke to thought it was too dangerous.
Had my debut full contact tourney in at the Tournee du Faucon Noir, near Tours in Oct 2012. Continued to participate in numerous tournaments as part of the Battle Heritage and UK teams until retiring at the end of 2016 after BotN in Prague.
Started marshaling for full contact events in 2015 while recovering from injury.
Qualified for HMBIA marshal at BotN Rome 2018
